Lucia (Lucy) and Primo de Cruz (Cross) emigrated from Portugal and purchased the Lucy Cross House from Alymer and Katie Small in 1919. Primo died young in a fishing accident and Lucy made a living to support her three children by renting rooms in the Lucy Cross House.
The Lucy and Primo Cross apartment pays homage to the couple with nods to the transatlantic crossing that brought the young couple to this country. The suite has a full kitchen, a double bed, a seating and dining area, and a large bathroom with a tub. The garden level apartment also boasts a private courtyard with mature gardens that is perfect for early evening dinner and cocktails.
