Arthur Cross was the son of Lucy and Primo Cross who was born and raised in the Lucy Cross House before going to serve in WWII. Disturbed by the atrocities he witnessed during combat, Arthur suffered from what was then known as “shell shock” and was hospitalized in various institutions to help treat his illness. Upon returning to Provincetown, he finished his days working in the parking lot his sister and husband started with his niece, Elena.
